Matthew & Tina Schubert have been the owners of two staffing companies over the past 25 years.
Matt joined the staffing industry as a franchisee of Tandem Staffing in 1992. His first office in Aurora, IL grew quickly and allowed him to expand to Joliet, IL in 1994. He opened 3 more franchises (Elkhart, IN, Fort Wayne, IN and Grand Rapids, MI) before selling his franchises back to the franchisor in 1997.
Matt and his wife Tina started Paramount Staffing in 1998 and opened their first office in Memphis, TN. Paramount’s exclusive focus on the industrial sector allowed them to become a dominant player in the market within 3 years. The company began expanding in Illinois as 7 additional offices were opened over the next 7 years including 1 in Urbana. During this time Paramount Staffing was ranked as the 6th Fastest Growing Privately Held Staffing Company in the US (2006), Ranked as the 11th Best Company to work for in Illinois (2007), and was recognized as the 20st Best Small Company to work for in the US twice in the last 8 years.
Today, Paramount Staffing is a $130 million company with 15 branches throughout the US and 4 divisions all focusing on the industrial sector: Paramount Professional (Perm Placement), Paramount Search (Skilled Industrial Staffing), Paramount Solutions (Light Industrial Temporary), Paramount on Premises (On Premises Staffing) and Paramount CFT (OSHA Certified Forklift Training).
Jude Fairbank, a Certified Human Resources Professional, has over 20 years experience in the staffing industry. She started her career in staffing as a Branch Manager and then a District Personnel Manager. Previous to staffing, she had 20 years experience in the manufacturing environment in various roles consisting of human resources, production control, quality control, and customer service. She oversees our Chicagoland and Indiana based offices as well as our Certified Forklift Training Center in Bolingbrook. Jude attributes Paramount’s success to our team members who have become experts in forming solid partnerships with our clients.
Gary has been our sales and marketing leader for 7 years and has 25 years of business development and operations leadership experience in B2B environments. Having successfully led high performing teams for large national firms as well as privately held companies in the manufacturing, packaging, and business services industries, he possesses broad experience utilizing temporary, contingent employees. This experience gives Gary clear insight into the challenges faced by our clients and prospects. Gary is a strong believer in building client trust and deep relationships by developing and executing flexible, customer-centered staffing solutions and “delivering our promise” of quality employees, very high fill rates and industry best overall value” every single day.

35 years’ experience in risk and safety management working for companies on an international and national basis and is currently the VP, Risk Management for Paramount Staffing. His duties include managing placement of company insurance programs, handling all phases of workers compensation issues and implementing safety and health programs both internally and with of our many clients. The central theme of Chad’s role is the belief that a successful risk management program is first and foremost geared toward placing a priority on injury and accident prevention programs to mitigate risks. This helps to drive down injury frequency, property damage losses and, ultimately, to control our total cost of risk. Chad holds an M.B.A in Industrial Management from Northern Illinois University, a B.S. in Safety Management from Indiana State University and holds the designation of CSP (Certified Safety Professional).
With Paramount for 5 years, Kathy has over 30 years of human resources experience as a manager and executive at large and small companies in consumer products, financial services and manufacturing industries. Her variety of experience in developing and implementing HR programs and strategies in talent management, assessment, employee relations, leadership development, training, coaching, succession planning and facilitation enable her to offer a broad set of experiences that benefit Paramount today and for future growth. Kathy is a firm believer that high performing companies deliver outstanding results to customers through their ability to provide a work environment where employees understand their role in the overall achievement of goals and feel they are valued for that contribution.
Savannah Simon is a proven 25 year professional in the contract staffing industry. Savannah’s unique approach to sales and service has yielded numerous awards and a customer portfolio that has procured over 150 million dollars in new business in her illustrious career. Several strategic and national accounts have been developed through Savannah’s innovative approach to providing Paramount’s partners with proven staffing strategies that promote optimum productivity, employee retention, and return on investment. Customer service has been a tool that Savannah has used to revolutionize partner relationships that result in unified commitments to exceeding bilateral goals and expectations. Savannah’s motto is “Selling through Service”. She believes that the trust she has built with clients will lead to stronger partnerships and greater initiatives.
Jay Kilgore joined Paramount Staffing in 2008. He has seventeen years of staffing industry experience. He has had many roles within Paramount including Sales Executive, Operations Manager of Onsite Accounts, and his current role as Director of Client Services. He has worn many hats throughout his career. Today his all-star team focuses on providing excellent customer service, strategic sales and operational support, multi market implementations, process improvement, and social media technologies. His team helps drive our success in numerous ways.
Michelle Dabney, PHR, SHRM-CP, joined Paramount in February 2017 as Regional Vice President, leading and supporting the Memphis and Mississippi branch locations. She is responsible for working with Paramount team members and partnering with clients on strategies to recruit, train and retain a high performing and motivated temporary workforce.
Michelle is an accomplished Staffing Professional with over 27 years of direct human resources management and staffing industry experience in public and private sectors specializing in Staffing, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Logistics. Some of her proven leadership experience includes hiring process design, hiring priorities, positive client relations, team building, training and development, conflict resolution, employee safety, compensation, benefits, policy development, legal compliance, strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prior to joining Paramount, Michelle served in various HR roles that include Human Resources Manager, Sr. Human Resources Manager, and Human Resources Director with fortune 500 companies. Michelle attended the University of Memphis and is certified through both the Human Resources Certification Institute as a Human Resources Professional (PHR) and Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP).
Veronica has been in the staffing industry for nearly 25 years and has over 20 years of management experience. She currently oversees our western suburb branches in Illinois. She has served in various positions including recruiter, client on-premises, and branch manager which has helped Veronica better understand what it takes to mentor and develop team members. She has built strong teams that follow our motto “No excuses, Only solutions” in order to deliver to client expectations. Veronica strongly believes that following the Golden Rule is integral to providing great customer service and has been key to Paramount's success.
Boris has spent 17 years in industrial staffing including over 10 years of management experience and currently oversees our 4 eastern most offices in the Chicagoland area. His success is attributed to having the hands on experience in different areas of the industry such as recruiting, customer service, onsite management, and relationship building. Boris feels going above and beyond, being honest with our clients and our service employees is an example of a true partner. His emphasis on providing great customer service is key to the success of Paramount Staffing. He strives to deliver the best service possible by following our credo of “No excuses Only solutions.”
Baldo has over 14 years of experience within the Staffing Industry. Having held nearly every role within Paramount Staffing unique and diversified organizational chart; he is a clear representation of Paramount culture, perspective on the market, and what it takes to be successful in Staffing. He has managed and operated a matrix of branches and teams. In addition, he has efficiently prepared and implemented strategies for business development and lead generation. This year he has been an integral part and a vital attribute to the successful initiation and beginning of our new Recruiting Center. Baldo operates with integrity, high ethical standards and an inherent drive for success. He continues to be committed and adds value to our growth within the Staffing Industry.
Dan has over 27 years of staffing industry experience. Following 3 years working in New York City on Wall Street, he started his career in staffing by becoming the 3rd generation to own and manage his families’ staffing company, Advanced Personnel Services. Following Paramount Staffing’s acquisition of Advanced Personnel in 2013, he then assumed responsibilities for overseeing all operational support and client services including helping to manage Paramount’s strategic initiatives for significant growth in New Jersey. Dan attributes Paramount’s success in the New Jersey market to its’ unique staffing model combined with the commitment of our dedicated team members who are determined to ensure our clients success while providing a safe work environment for our valued service employees.
As a former business owner, Randy understands the value of a contingent labor force and brings a client’s perspective to his role as Senior Sales Executive. With $ 15 Million in annual sales, Randy is a proud recipient of the Paramount Staffing President Club award. Randy has nearly a decade of experience to assist in unwinding the maze of today’s challenging labor market. He boasts dozens of successful collaborations with Paramount partners, spanning a wide range of manufacturing and logistical products and services.
Katherine Zilm is a Senior Sales Executive and has over 15 years of experience selling for the industrial staffing sector. She has been with Paramount Staffing since early 2010 and is responsible for building profitable revenue and developing customer relationships through interactive consulting and strategic initiatives. Recognized three times with the President’s Club award from Paramount, Katherine is known for her professional presentation and personable nature. With a passion for achievement and dedication to the company’s success, Katherine is responsible for growing markets in Chicagoland and Plainfield, IN. Katherine holds a BS degree in Economics from the University of Illinois. Katherine also enjoys spending time traveling and being with her family.
